JNS Agriculture Promotion Project in Nepal (APPIN)

“JNS Agriculture Promotion Project in Nepal (APPIN)” is funded by Japan Nepal Society (JNS), Tokyo and is currently being implemented by Institution for Suitable Action for Prosperity (ISAP), to enhance agricultural income and sustainability in Nepal. This project is focused on improving the income of local communities in Lele, Godawari-5, Lalitpur, and Bhumdi, Khalse, Chisapani, and nearby localities in Pokhara-22, Kaski through the production and marketing of high-quality vegetables and few selected fruits. The main objective of this project includes promoting industrialization within the agricultural sector and increasing awareness about high value vegetable and fruit quality, as well as establishing permanent linkage between traders and farmers. By securing adequate earnings for reinvestment, the project aims to ensure its long-term sustainability and economic impact.
