Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP) is looking for a Field Research Associate to gather primary data for a study administered by Michael Lamport Commons Ph.D., a professor at Harvard Medical School and his research team. The study is aimed at assessing critical thinking, problem solving and perspective taking skills for non-literate adults of rural areas of Nepal. You would be expected to devote around five to six weeks for this position starting from mid to late November. During the first week, you will be trained through a couple of Skype sessions each lasting 2-3 hours. You would then spend about two weeks in rural Sindhupalchowk conducting 'experiments' and collecting data with a team of 3-4 people. You would then spend 2 to 3 weeks processing the data you collect from the experiment i.e. transcribing, translating and aggregating the information.
