A two-day exposure visit for Farmers Group was organized at various sites of Kavre district on 30th and 31st of July 2023 with the aim to motivate and encourage beneficiary farmers for the large-scale production of vegetables. Altogether 51 beneficiary farmers from Melamchi, Sunkoshi, and Balefi got an opportunity to explore the large-scale commercial farms adopting different technology. During the first day of the visit, New Greenland Agriculture Farm at Kavresthali, Subha Krishi Farm at Panauti, and Taja Farm Private Limited at Daltar, Kavre were visited. On the 2nd day, Ugrachandi Krishi farm at Nala, Kavre was visited. During the visit, participants were fascinated seeing the effort, dedication, and working mechanism of farm owners. They were enthusiastic regarding the farm income, market selection, pest identification, and its management, balanced fertilizer use method, frequency of micronutrients, and pesticide application in the field.
