ISAP hosted the 3rd edition of Udhymai Insights, a moderated panel discussion program where aspiring, small scale and commercial entrepreneurs gain insights from market pundits and service providers to address specific challenges they face in their interested field of entrepreneurship.
In this edition of Udhymai Insights, we focused on the available options of Finance, Insurance and Subsidies for a Agro-enterprise, along with addressing difficulties while accessing those services.
We were honored to have Ms. Sangita Sapkota from Rastriya Banijya Bank, Mr. Lok Bahdur Khadka from Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-employment Fund, Mr. Udit Prasad Kafle from Shikar Insurance, and Mr. Basu Dev Kafle from Ministry of Agriculture Development as our panelist of the event. The event saw the active participation of 150+ aspiring and current entrepreneurs, students as well as cooperatives and social organizations, working to nurture the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Nepal.
The highlight of the event was the Panel Discussion session where the questions regarding misuse of Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-employment Fund, and of available subsides was raised. Likewise, complication regarding insurance of boiler chickens and baby pigs, and provision of loan for women entrepreneurs by Rastra Banijya Bank was also questioned. The detailed videos of the quires and information will shortly be posted, specially for the interested people who could not be present due to geographical constraints.
