Third day of the Agrovets Retailers Training has come to an end. Today’s sessions were conducted by Mr. Mahesh Chandra Acharya, Senior Plant Protection Officer, and Mr. Madhab Bhatta, Plant Protection Officer of PQPMC.
The sessions incorporated information regarding identifying harmful insects, diseases, and their management. An elaborative session on about pesticidal misuse and its management, adoption of waiting period and role of concerned bodies was conducted thereafter. The participants were provided with the knowledge of the adverse effects of chemical pesticides as well. The participants got the chance to revise and recall important information for the certification exam through interaction with the facilitators.
