The second day of Leader Farmer Training was conducted successfully where all the participants showed enthusiasm and inquisitiveness.
Two crucial sessions were conducted by notable resource persons. Mr. Dinesh Sapkota, Senior Horticulture Development Officer at Vegetable Crop Development Center, Lalitpur, gave a fruitful session on Cultivation Technology of Major Summer and Winter Season Vegetable Crops. The day was concluded by Mr. Sahadev Prasad Humagain, Joint Secretary of Plant Quarantine & Pesticide Management Center with his session on Common diseases of major vegetable crops and their management options, and common insect/pests, types of insecticides/pesticides and its handling/management.
