The inauguration and handover program of the Project for Improving Water Access (PIWA) which was being implemented in Sunkoshi RM-6, happened on the 28th of February, 2020. This event took place with the presence of a representative from the Embassy of Japan, Municipal Representatives from Sunkoshi RM, Representatives from WUC, Beneficiaries of the project and all the working hands from Peace Winds Japan along with their Country Representative and Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP). The project was being operated by the financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Japan, and jointly implemented by Peace Winds Japan and ISAP.
In the upcoming phase, Project for Improving Water Access and Agriculture Income (PIWAAI) will be implemented from Mid-March in Balefi Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchowk which has the addition of an agricultural component to it.
