A cereal processing mill owner of Melamchi, Sindhupalchok, Krishna Lal Giri’s life changed when he began his journey of commercial farming from the PIWAAI project. A plastic tunnel from the project gave him opportunities to earn better than from the mill, motivating him further to commit more time and hard work. He also became a leader farmer of Unnati Farmer’s Group to provide support and empower other small holder farmers in his group.
