ISAP was awarded with a certificate of appreciation at the felicitation ceremony organized on the 9th of October 2018 by the ward office of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality – 06 in collaboration with Mahendrodaya Secondary School.
The event was chaired by Mr. Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Former Parliamentarian and Former Minister of Information and Communication, Nepal Congress Party, Mr. Shrawan Kumar GC, Mayor, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality – 06 and Mr. Ram Kumar Thapa, Ward Chairperson, Ward -06, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality. The certificate was awarded to us for the successful completion of the first phase of Project for Improving Water Access (PIWA) which has improved the access to safe drinking water for over 1200 residents of the area and also for our contribution in providing on-field exposure to the overseer students of Mahendrodaya Secondary School which has helped them in understanding the lessons better.
In this picture, we have the District Coordinator of ISAP, Mr. Gopi Krishna Dangal getting felicitated with a Khadaa and a certificate of appreciation from the distinguished guests, Mr. Prem Dhoj Lama (Right) and Mr. Hari Sharan Shrestha (Left), Central Committee Members of Nepal Congress Party (NCP). Mr. Dangal received the certificate on behalf of ISAP. Such expression of gratitude and acknowledgement of our efforts from the local level government, project beneficiaries and other project stakeholders has motivated us to work harder and bring better results in the communities in the days to come. We take this opportunity to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Japan and Peace Winds Japan for entrusting us with the responsibility. We are also thankful to our team members for their unquantifiable efforts in making this project successful.
Our special thanks to the district team members; Er. Sushil Adhikari, District Technical Coordinator, Mr. Chitra Bahadur Shrestha, Water Supply Technician and Mr. Netra Prasad Dangal, Social Mobilizer for their hard work and dedication that resulted to the successful completion of Phase I.
