The final day of the Three days Residential Leader Farmer Training saw leader farmers bringing in a lot of energy and excitement to interact and learn from different resource persons for the day. about the role of Agri input suppliers for vegetable production and current supply chain of agriculture input from Mr. Khageshwor Bhattarai, HARC. Mr. Deepak Tuladhar, Project Coordinator and Ms. Purnima Puri, Outreach Officer from Kheti Food also discussed about the use of agri machine/apps in vegetable production and marketing in another session. The Chief of Agriculture Knowledge Center, Dhulikhel, Mr. Tej Prasad Dawadi spoke about the need of group/firm/pan registration for crop insurance and government subsidy policy for vegetable production and marketing. The role of output traders for vegetable production, post harvesting, marketing and current marketing system of fresh vegetables were pointed out by a vegetable trade expert from Kavre, Mr. Jaya Ram Sigdel.
At the end of the day, all the farmers were very happy and thankful towards ISAP and PWJ.
