As our farmers are increasing their level of production and slowly are under transition from subsistence to commercial farming, Marketing and Book-Keeping Training served as an interactive curriculum that helped small scale producer farmers in taking a more commercially minded approach to their farming activities.
Two-day Marketing and Book-keeping training was conducted in Melamchi and Sunkoshi with 30 farmer participants by Ms.
Sushama Sharma. The training has been successful in enhancing the understanding and awareness of farmers about the basic business concepts that maximize profits and improve farmers production. They will be applying this knowledge on their own farming business and share them to their fellow farmers of their respective farmer groups.
