After receiving Agrovet License one year ago from the training provided by PIWAAI, Ms. Samita Timalsina took over from her father, the proprietor of Sunkoshi Agrovet in Khadichaur, Sunkoshi, Sindhupalchok District who began his retail business 10 years ago. She notes “In addition to selling agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, I have learned from this training that it is necessary to provide technical services such as training and guidance on agricultural techniques, to local farmers as well. But the challenge of farmers not following the directions provided for their safety remains.”
